Meet James Tzitzon
I wrote this book to preserve the proud history and legacy of the Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicle Inspectors. During my law enforcement career, I specialized in motor vehicle law, traffic enforcement, accident investigations, identification fraud, licensing, and police training. I also served on a special team responsible for implementing the federal commercial vehicle licensing law in Massachusetts, helping the state meet critical federal requirements. The 1992 consolidation of four statewide police agencies ultimately ended the Registry Inspector position and its long-standing legacy. Through this book, I hope readers will remember the dedication, professionalism, and public service of those who proudly served in this important law enforcement role.
